Life: Another party week this time for our little friend Penelope who turned one.  We also got to attend her Baptism which was very special and have another play date at her house. We survived week 3 of daycare even though Bella tries to cry her way out of it each day at drop off, she is snuggled better each afternoon by Grandpa.

Week 37

Life: The week started by celebrating Brent and Melissa's engagement. We have a little party animal. She did great at dinner then let numerous people hold her and held strong till 10:30pm. We had a girls day this week with Granny and got all the supplies for the Halloween costume. Another busy week complete. 

Week 36

Life: Summer is over, soccer season has started which means Bella has started daycare. Day 1 was traumatizing for mommy when they asked if she could eat a hot dog and Mac and cheese for lunch. She will now have a packed lunch. Daycare is only Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we work together the other days which really means mommy works when Bella naps. 

Week 35

Life: This was a busy week. Lots of meetings for Mommy, Daddy still on crutches but through it all we still made it to the park for cake and ice cream. Had another fabulous photo shoot with Kara for the 8 month mark. Next photos will be the 1 year ones, how is this year going so quickly?

Week 34

Life: Saturday started with a day at Granny and Grandpa's while Mom and Dad went to New Jersey to watch a soccer game.  Granny got Bella to bed, it was the first night I didn't put her to sleep since she was born.  Sunday I was down and out with some sinus bug so Granny and Grandpa to the rescue again.  Wednesday night Bella got to join Mommy and Daddy at the Inn at Turkey Hill for our Anniversary dinner.  It was a great night out.  Mommy tried to have the week off of work but Friday was really the only no work day with coffee with our friend Penny in the morning and swimming with Addie in the afternoon.

Week 33

Life: Busy week, Mom had 2 nights meeting which Bella does not like not having mommy before bed time.  Dad had knee surgery on Wednesday so he is on crutches for at least 3 weeks.  Some days Bella is more mobile that Daddy.  Finally got my car back on Friday which Bella hung out with Daddy and Uncle Brent, wish I could have seen that.

Week 32

Life: Totally not into getting a photo taken this week.  We had a family outing to Allentown to drop Divot (my hail damaged car) off for repairs and made a day of it.  The rental car is not ideal with a baby.  Weather has been nicer for a couple trips to the park to ride the swing, we also got a patio installed at the house this week which is much nicer than the mud pit and will allow us to spend more time outside with Bella, even though she hates the feel of grass still.  Bella is crawling everywhere now, pulls herself up and likes to stand next to you.  Life is going to get real interesting fast I think.

Week 31

Life:  Daddy day care is in full operation with a full week this week by Daddy. Now that Bella is a champion crawler there is more chasing going on it sounds like.  She has found the x-box controllers and they seem to have a magnetic pull to her. We also finished up our first set of swim lessons, I think we will have a little fish, she seemed to love the water.  Looking forward to a weekend at home with not a lot of plans, days seem to be crazy right now.

Week 30

Life: We totally played up the, we have a cute baby to bring to your picnic, and ate some great food prepared by others during the holiday weekend.  Bella had a special outfit for each event including the weekly Friday outing to the pool she was complete with festive suit, shades and hat.  We even went to the Bloomsburg Fireworks at the park and Bella watched them all, she hardly made it out of the park before falling asleep but surprising my kid saw the fireworks, I was known for sleeping through them.  We can’t forget to mention we attended the Millville Carnival this week and grandpa took Bella on her first ride of the Carousel and she liked it and I won a watermelon on the lucky number 13 for the year Bella was born.

Week 29

Life: We went to Pittsburgh to visit Aunt Angie this weekend, hence the late photo and weigh in.  While in Pittsburgh we visited the zoo, it was super hot but on Friday afternoon not too crowded.  We saw our lions, tigers and bear as well as Elephants, Giraffe, Flamingo (Aunt Angie called them Tucans) and a very large polar bear.  Saturday was a typically shopping outing and Sunday was a relaxing day.  Now if only we could move Pittsburgh about 1 to 1.5 hours closer to Bloomsburg Bella would like that car ride a lot me.  She has her puppy Blondie in the back seat with her to entertain her for the ride.

Week 28

Life: The teething has started and wow she can be grumpy.  If Bella is kept occupied it isn't bad but bedtime, oh no!  The week started by celebrating Fathers day with lunch out and the rest of the day spent relaxing at home. This week in swim lessons we taught Bella how to put her face in the water, she wasn't that cool with it, so we only did it once. On Friday we met our friend Addie at the Town Pool, it was very chilly but good to see our friends.

Week 27

Life: (Mommy fail on this week's photo, camera was on the wrong setting and someone wasn't happy obviously) This was the last week of mommy only have 2 days in the office and 3 days of juggling mom and working. On Tuesday I was feeling like I figured out a nap/work schedule. It only took 6 months and I had one day left of that schedule. This weekend we took a trip to Granny and Grandpa's camper at Ceder Run. It was just a 24 hour trip and the weather was less than cooperative even though it was projected to be very nice. We managed with an outing to Wellsboro.  

Week 26

Life: On Sunday we had a girls only lunch with Penelope, Heather and Melissa. The little girls were so good!  We continue to have our weekly coffee dates with Heather and Penelope, only 1 more week and daddy can join us. Bella is sitting up on her own, a little wobbly, and the attempting to crawl included rocking on her hands and knees but not confident to get those arms going yet. We visited daycares this week and are so thankful we have managed so far without but that transition in August will be hard still. 

Week 25

Life: This was a short work week, we spent the holiday weekend (memorial day) with our friends Brent and Melissa (they got engaged) at a house in the Pocono's.  The rest if the week went quick doing laundry and catching up on house work. This weekend we spent time with Heather, Jon, Penelope, Brent and Melissa at a cookout at the Joseph house. It's so fun to hang out with our friends and Bella has her little friend Penelope.  How could I forget that during our morning walk I thought I would tackle upper campus, that hill was serious pushing the stroller. We haven't been back but we should it was an amazing workout. 

Week 24

Life: This week I celebrated my first birthday as a mom. It was a great day complete with a spa visit dinner out as a family and lots of snuggles before bed. Bella tries so hard to crawl but is stuck in reverse. Toys that make noise are her favorite. Oh and a very strange thing happen, the cat who typically hisses at everyone as decided to be buddies with Bella, lets her pet him, roll on his tail, pull his ears. Simply amazing to those who know this cat. 

Week 23

Life: The week started with a fabulous First Mother's Day complete with breakfast, hung Bella's swing in the yard, relaxed and worked on her baby book while she napped and enjoyed a cookout dinner with the extended family. This week Bella is very busy playing on the floor, reaches for toys and tries to creep but ends up going backwards or rotating on the belly. She is a rolling champ, hence the photo.

Week 22

Life: This week we added Mango to the mix of foods.  She is very vocal at the table and everyone around knows when she needs more food.  The weeks seem to only get busier but we are figuring out her nap schedule and working around it.  We checked out the new Kidsburg this week, it is amazing I think we will be spending TONS of time there. Bella still loves the swings so we got a swing for our yard. The week ended with family dinner with the McGarry's on Friday and we got to see Moira.  On Saturday we had a family photo shoot which was a lot of fun and Bella did fantastic considering it was during nap time. Oh and how could I forget, the week ended very HOT, time for those summer clothes.

Week 21

Life: Bella has added apples to the food selection. Still a good little eater. It is fun to go for dinner now and have food for her to eat at the same time. Friday we had girls morning and met Heather and Penelope for coffee, can't wait for the girls to be able to play together on the floor.  We finally had our first girls only day shopping with Granny. That was so much easier having an extra set of hands to maneuver all the stores. Still only babbling but starting with some "m" sounds. Don't think we will get to "mama" by Mother's Day but Momma is sounding closer than any Dadda sounds.  Daddy got the first laugh I should be able to get the first word. 

Week 20

Life: Bella still loves her real food, added sweet potatoes to the list this week. She is a demanding eater, if you are not paying attention and scooping it fast enough she will let you know. The scale isn't showing it but she got some chubby legs!  We love how you can see her develop daily.  Had my first day of working all day without her and than meeting in the evening, so only got to she her for about 2 hours one day this week, that was miserable but when she fights sleep to have more snuggle time with mom it is all worth it.  Sleep is getting better we had our first 7 hour night in 3 weeks, it was like a mini vacation for Mom except I was still up every 2 hours just to check on her. 

Week 19

Life: Another busy week, especially since we were preparing to host Easter Dinner for Daddy's family and our 4 Month professional photo shoot was on Friday so of course Mommy had to make something and finish it the day of.  Aunt Angie was home to visit for Easter and the weather has been getting slightly nicer for some more walks.Still a rolling champion to the right side that is and sometimes she can roll back to her back but I think she finds it easier to complain knowing someone is always there eager to get their hands on her and help her off her tummy.  Started real foods this last week and so far not a fan of rice cereal, bananas were a hit but pears are the prize winner so far.

Week 18

Life: So supposedly there is a thing called 4 month sleep regression and Bella is totally in that phase. It is difficult for her to give in and fall asleep, then staying asleep is hard too.  Back to up every hour or couple hours is rough after she was sleeping 6-8 hours straight for 10 weeks.  Some nights are so rough that I have resorted to sleeping sitting up with Bella in my arms because any sleep is better than no sleep. Supposedly this only last a couple weeks, I was hoping for a couple days. Bella got her 4 month shots this week. She did great but a little Tylenol to sleep that night was the magic trick.  

Week 17

Life: Bella can roll back to belly from her right side only. I think she has rolled left only twice. She seems to have forgotten how to get off the belly with only a random belly to back roll these days.  She loves to roll but forgets that she hates tummy time when she gets there. No more swaddling of the arms at night is a little rough.  When she is tired she rubs her eyes but pulls the pacifier out and then gets mad. I often find her sleeping on her side now which makes me nervous she will get on her belly so I am up often t check on her.  The video monitor is awesome. You can tell the days that have been gloomy for her photo, this was yet another cold wet day.  So ready for Spring!!!

Week 16

Life: Bella can roll belly to back, anything to get out of tummy time.  She is very interested in rolling to the right only but the darn rm gets in the way.  We are slowly transitioning to naps in the crib.  Some days they are cat naps and others they are well over an hour. Those feet in the picture, that is the new thing to pair up bare feet, and the legs are always moving.

Week 15

Life: We finally go to take a trip to the park to try out the swings while the weather was nice for a day.  Bella is full of motion these days trying to roll to the right only if that arm didn't get in the way.  The play mat is a great use of her extra energy.  Oh and we got to meet Sheryl while she was home.  Another cold week ahead then they say it will warm up, we can only hope as it is soon to be April.

Week 14

Life: We went to Pittsburgh again to visit Aunt Angie and celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  We did some shopping, eating and hanging out.  That car ride is long but we take Blondie for some back seat company, she likes to check up on "her puppy" whenever she makes any noises. The congestion monster caught us again, can't wait to have our happy baby back that can breathe and eat full meals so Mommy can get more sleep.

Week 13

Life: The weather has finally cooperated that Bella got to meet her cousin Moira this weekend and exchange Christmas presents. Granny and Grandpa were in sunny, warm Florida so we requested them to return with some beach books to add to our reading as we eagerly await spring!

Week 12

Life: Another busy week!  Nothing too interesting, naps are now only cat naps of 10-30 min and rocking/snuggling is preferred. Still sleeping great at night. Looking forward to spring for walks outside and fresh air. Maybe next week we can get a picture without bent knees, but those little legs are always moving.

Week 11:

Life: I sleep in my crib in my own room since we got back from Aunt Angie's.  I still sleep 6-7 hours at a time and wake up happy. This was a super sad week for our family as we said goodbye to 2 super sweet little girls, Abby and Charlotte, lots of snuggles for Bella which she didn't oppose. 

Week 10

Life: We took our first road trip to aunt Angie's house. While there we went shopping, tried on our first pair of Hunter boots and got an awesome swim suit for summer. The car ride was long but Bella did great, she had her puppy Blondie in the back seat with her to keep a close eye on her.

Week 9

Life: Starting last Saturday she has slept at least 6 hours, some nights even 7 hours!  It is an amazing thing, she also puts herself to sleep.  I can lay her in the pack and play and within 5 minutes she is asleep and no crying.  This is night time only, during the day she still prefers the shoulder to sleep on.

Week 8

Life: We got to go for our first walk outside today since it was over freezing for once.  I thought she would take her nap then but she was enjoying looking around.  

Week 7

Almost back on track, week #2 of work for Mom is underway but we are a little sidetracked with baby and life things today (Tuesday).  Only Monday's and Thursday's are dedicated work days right now, on other days what work gets done is bonus in order to keep the stress level in check.

Weight: Officially hit the 8 pound mark, to be exact she was 8lb 3.5oz on January 21st.

Life: She got her first set of shots at the 6 week appointment.  She wasn't impressed by them but we took Daddy along to snuggle after the shots.  She is getting Mommy clingy now that she is at a sitters on Mondays and Thursday.  Tuesday and Fridays can be very unproductive work wise for Mommy but I won't pass up the cuddle time.  Mom and Dad survived an evening out for dinner without her, she was in the loving care of Granny and Grandpa, not sure who enjoyed that evening more!

Week 6

Wow, 6 weeks have flown by and this back to work is really time consuming!  We are only a little over a week late posting, the photo was taken on time but the weekend was spent visiting with family and friends.

Week 5

Looks like Izzie is a not a fan of rainy days like her mom!

Life: It's a rainy miserable day, the house is nice and warm, hence the short sleeve onsie today.

Week 4

Looks like she is trying to tell us she is 4 weeks already!  Time is flying by, only 2 more weeks and Mom is going back to work (part-time).
Lets try something different, we will do weekly facts:
Weight: 7lbs 10.7 oz as of Thursday, finally back to birth weight
Height: Thinking closer to 21"

Head Size: Almost out of newborn hats, they hardly cover the ears but we loose our eyes in the 0-3
Life: It is beyond cold right now outside (single digits), so we snuggle or hang out in the nursery that is somehow the warmest room in the house that we refer to as her tropical island some days.
